Owners Katie D’Oyen and her husband,, Don Jaeger, opened K.D’s Sea Shack in September 2022,
Katie, who is originally from New York, now resides in Tryon, NC. She has worked in the food industry throughout her life. Don is from Michigan and has lived in Tryon for more than 20 years.
You may already know Katie and Don from their wildly successful Katie D’s NY Bagels and Deli Tryon eatery.
Katie’s reputation is built on providing the freshest, highest quality foods at affordable prices. The menu and recipes are a collaborative effort by Katie and Travis.
